Ed Helms will be appearing with Seth Morris in his puppet talk show “Seth and Ed’s Puppet Show” at the UCB Theater in LA this Saturday 4-19-08. It’s an awesome show. Get a ticket reservation if you can!
The guests are Steve Agee & Jason Mantzoukas.
Check out this photo from tonight’s Seth & Ed’s Puppet Show (video clips coming soon!). Ed’s puppet is the one with the crazy hair and Seth’s is on the right. They talked a little bit about Ed being featured in this NY Times article today with this out of context quote:
Mr. Helms said the show’s satire of a cappella was all in good fun, though he still bears the scars of his own brief encounter with the art form: in 1993, he said, he quit the Oberlin Obertones after one semester because of a personality clash with the group’s music director. “I decided smoking pot was more important than extracurricular activities,” he said.
Turns out the pot line was a joke from a past interview. But I guess being misrepresented in a major newspaper could be the sign that you’ve officially arrived 
The next Seth & Ed’s Puppet Show performance is this weekend at the UCB LA theater! Get a ticket reservation if you can. I went to the show in January and absolutely loved it. It was well worth standing in line during the crazy rainstorm for an hour.
This video clip is an excerpt from my favorite part of their last show. Ed’s puppet is the one with the crazy hair and cast on his foot. There’s a really nice synopsis of the show accompanied by photos here.
